L x Reader :Cherry Knot

    He kind of freaked out some of the other detectives but not me. I've wanted to date this strange man for a long time now or at least kiss him. But being as strange as he is it would be hard to do that.

    I sat eating my shortcake in silence silently admiring him. When he pulled a cherry off of his cake I didn't think anything of it and when he ate it I didn't think anything of it but when he pulled the cherry stem out of his mouth I giggled and hid my face so he wouldn't see me blush.

"You know when you tie the stem of a cherry in a knot it means your a good kisser." I mumbled. Ryuzaki looked at me.

"I'm sorry could you repeat that?"

"I said if you tie the stem in a knot it means you're a good kisser..." He nodded.

"I see..." Then his face returned to the screen with his eyes slightly widened. I put my face in my hands feeling like an idiot until someone cupped my cheeks and lifted my head. It was L! He kissed me deeply and our tongues had a battle for dominance. He won of course. Then sadly he pulled away.
My eyes widened and my heart pounded as I saw him smile for the first time. It was even weirder than regular L. 

"Well?" I looked  at him dumbfounded. 

"Was I a good kisser?" I nodded my head vigorously at his question. He put his thumb in his mouth like he usually did, looking very deep in thought

"Let us do this again _____?" My face heated up and I stuttered.

"Uhh...m-may....duh um...s-s-sure!" I said to happily and to awkwardly.

"Good." He said returning his attention back to the monitors but this time...this time he was smiling.  

"Oh and ____?" He asked.

"Yes?"

"I heard what you said the first time I just wanted to hear you say it again." That sneaky bastard!

"So this was a set-up kiss!"

"Yes yes it was is there a problem with that_____?"My whole face was burning.

"You know what it's not you know why..." I asked.

"Why?"

"Because I liked it..." I whispered in his ear. My lips brushed against his just as the door flew open.

"Ok guys our turn to watch the monitors!" Matsuda bursted in saying with Watari.'Dang it Matsuda!' I though. I climbed from my position on top of L back to my chair. L had put his legs back into the way he usually sits staring blankly at Matsuda.

"Ok oh and Matsuda you really should learn to knock. Come on ____" he said grabbing my hand and leading me out of the room. Matsuda sweat dropped as I walked passed him. L lead me to a room and closed the door. On the table he picked up a tray of all types of yummy sweets. He sat me down on the bed and said.

"I want to see you tie the cherry stem."
