Eren x Reader Beauty from pain (final)

After so many weeks Eren was let out after he was deemed safe for the public but still you were in the infirmary. He visited you religiously with small snacks and games to play. He was your light in a dark place. You've never been in love with someone more than you were in these past weeks.

"Hey kiddo. "You heard as Hanji stepped inside. You brushed the hair from your face and smiled at here, you looked so tired and still so weak. You would think after all this time and everything that's happened you would eat more but you still got your regular visits from, you guessed it. Ana.

"Good morning Hanji." You said with a chapped smile.

"I hope I didn't wake you..." She said softly.

"Oh no I love the company. "You smiled and motioned to her chair. Hanji took a seat in her doctors chair beside the bed and placed a small briefcase on the ground.

"I found this outside your door. "She smiled and held up a small parcel with a knowing look. "Let me just check your vitals and I'll let you open that. "She winked and began checking your pulse and tampering with your IV bag. When she finally finished she walked out and gave a subtle wave. You waved back to her and then glanced at your box you looked at the delicate ribbon and slowly pulled it apart letting the note on top fall to the side. You picked up the letter and unfolded it slowly.

    "Dear ________,
As you probably know I'm not good with using my words, if I was wouldn't be getting Into so many fights. I'm also not good at telling people I love them either but... Here I am! ________ this is going to sound cheesy and stupid but here I go. You are my rose. You are the delicate flower I dared not to pick. You like most roses were beautiful the first time I saw you. Your skin was soft as delicate pedals and you smelled just as pretty as you looked. As most roses are you grew in a bush so most never saw you but I couldn't stop staring. Never would I have known that I would've needed to save you from that bushel of roses.  But I only noticed when I reached to touch the rose and noticed the parasite that was killing the flower. _______ I need you to get better my rose. I need you to be that happy cute girl I remember. I don't care how much you weigh I will always love you. I love you _____.

You smiled at this and giggled to yourself. "This was super cheesy. "You said with warm salty tears silently cascading down your face like small unhappy raindrops. You wiped your eyes and opened the package. There lied a small vanilla bean cupcake. You caught your breath and smiled. You brought the cupcake to your lips only to quake your small fingers as the sweet icing was just in reach of your tongue. You heard the door creak open. You rushed to put the cupcake back into the box and close it but you ended up dropping it on the top and completely messing it up. You felt crushed from this for some reason. You couldn't even put a damn cupcake back right.

You weren't even shocked to see the bony fingers snake their way onto the box. But you just sat there.

"Hmph. Still eating this shit food are we. "She said while taking the box and flinging it against the wall.

"Hey!" You hissed with your hoarse voice.

"Hey what? You don't need all those calories anyway fatass. Oh and what's this. She yanked the note off the bed. "Oh wow that's fucking stupid. I honestly thought he was only going out with you out of pity. My little piggy. "She pinched your cheeks. You were so angry you smacked her hand away from you. "Hey watch it!" She hissed and rubbed her hand.

"No..."

"What was that?"

"I said no! I... I dont need you anymore Ana!" You looked up with your eyes and clenched your sheets.

"What are you talking about! You need me! Your still disgusting! Everyone talks about it! Your fat! And gross-"

"Shut up!" You screamed and swung at her face only for her to move out of the way.

"Heh your to slow and fat to even hit me. "Then she began to laugh. That bitch began to laugh! You were so sick of her shit you grabbed a box of tissues from your desk and threw it at her. Ana looked at you stunned.

"Get out..." You growled. You then pulled your feet to the ground and slid onto the cold ground and the room began to spin. You were so dizzy your legs wobbled under your weight but you didn't care anymore. You picked up more things and threw at her.

"Get out! Get out!" You screamed like a madwoman.

"But you need me!" Ana screamed back angrily deflecting the items while backing up. When you'd finally run out of items to throw at her you walked towards her with your IV steadying you and hit her with your weak bony fists.

"No I don't! I hate you! I hate you! All you've done is make me sick and depressed! I hate you! Leave me alone!" You'd finally gotten her to the door and pointed to the door and glared at her. "Get out. " Ana glared at you and walked out into the hall.

"Fine. But I know you'll come back and when you do I'll be waiting. "She said and walked away looking as beautiful as ever.

You watched her until she disappeared from your vision then you turned back and picked up your poor messy cupcake.

"I'm sorry Eren... I promise I'll make it up to you..."

-Two Years Later-

You and Eren were still together. You had regular dates at the cafe and you got your favorite vanilla bean cupcake. You still saw Ana of course. She'd be in the cafe with you sitting only a couple of seats away glaring at you or walking in the same direction to the ice cream man only to stop, look at you and walk away. She'll never truly leave you alone and you've accepted that. Ana is here to stay but she doesn't  have the same power over you that she used to. You feel so much better now that Ana isn't telling you what to do anymore and that's how you like it.
